Running Clinic · Тренування BFR · Kinesport
Реабілітація, профілактика травм та оптимізація результатів для спортсменів усіх рівнів — від Running Clinic до тренувань BFR.
The Running Clinic at Praxis Loten is based on the 'La Clinique du Coureur' programme — the world's leading evidence-based approach to analysing and treating running injuries. Thom Petit analyses your running mechanics with cutting-edge methods and creates a personalised treatment plan.
Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training enables significant muscle gains at only 20–30% of maximum load — a major breakthrough for early post-operative rehabilitation. Patients following ACL reconstruction or knee prosthesis can significantly accelerate their progress.
Kinesport is our programme for sports clubs and athletes: injury prevention, biomechanical analysis, sport-specific strengthening and mental preparation for the competition season.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a medical prescription?
For INAMI reimbursement, yes. For pure performance or prevention work (Running Clinic, reconditioning), no prescription is needed — that service is then not reimbursed.
How many sessions before returning to sport?
It depends on the injury. We work with clear, measurable stages (return-to-sport criteria) rather than fixed deadlines — you return when your body is ready, not by the calendar.
Should I rest completely when injured?
Usually not. Complete rest weakens muscles and tendons; adapted loading is better — movement is part of healing. Together we dose what helps and what is (still) too much.
What are the Running Clinic and BFR training?
The Running Clinic is a running analysis to prevent injuries and improve performance. BFR (blood-flow restriction) lets you build strength with light loads — ideal in early rehab after surgery or injury.
Do I need to be a competitive athlete?
No. We support all active people — from recreational runners to those returning after a long break. What matters is your goal, not your level.
What should I bring or wear?
Sportswear and your usual running shoes (for running topics). Bring your prescription and any exams; for the Running Clinic, your usual shoes matter.
