Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ)
Specialised therapy for craniomandibular dysfunction (CMD)
Specialised therapy for craniomandibular dysfunction (CMD). Treatment of jaw pain, headaches, dizziness and neck tension through myotensive and manipulative techniques.
Craniomandibular dysfunction (CMD) affects approximately 10β15% of the population and is often the hidden cause of headaches, ear pain or chronic neck tension. TMJ therapy is a highly specialised discipline within physiotherapy.
Our specialist Fabienne Dormann has been trained in the most current methods (Pitance, GIOP, Gouzland 2025). Treatment combines intra- and extra-oral techniques on the chewing muscles and the TMJ itself, complemented by cervical treatment and home exercises.
Close collaboration with orthodontists and dentists is often part of the overall concept β an interdisciplinary approach that delivers the best results.
